The features were transplanted from my other skins (e.g. Welcome “Base” skin!īase skin has a simple, well-documented HTML 4.0 / CSS 2.1 (3) structure, still sporting tons of advanced features. We have therefore designed a skin that should be the perfect blend: Basic enough to encourage you to base your modifications and new skins on it, but with a current code style, feature set and look. The Minimal skin was initially made to be minimal enough to encourage people to base their skins on it, but it is old, both with regards to html+css style and visual look. Some skins may also have a licensing model that doesn’t allow modification. It can also be a daunting task to modify existing skins as they have grown in code size and features – you easily break things. We believe this is much due to the higher expectations users have when it comes to standards compliance, features and visual appearance. These days it’s more common to see updates to a smaller set of album skins than to actually see new skins emerge. It is therefore important that we have a thriving skin developer community. This is also perfectly solved in JALBUM, which I used before Photo Gallery X3.One of the most appreciated aspects of jAlbum is the ability to customize albums to fit your requirements. You can use var ) can solve the problem sustainably. See demo below, on hover the filename without extension displays (+ description, but that can be disabled obviously):įurthermore, there are already variables that can be used in captions (title or description). By default, X3 will already display caption as filename without extension (as long as title is not set). ![]() Unfortunately, all of this is extremely complex I have probably already spent days with these problems, because not all fields Title, description, foldername (not path, for example "mushrooms"), Filename with Extension and Filename without Extension can be used as simple variables. Do you have panel login for me to diagnose this? Or could you at least send the affected photo? Disabling "save iptc" will not remove any existing IPTC data in images or disable IPTC from displaying. But of course that is not the solution either, since the space now creates an empty line! Switching the setting Save ITPC in JPEG on and off does not help either! I already had the same problem with deleting the title field!ĭoes this happen to all images? You create a title or description, and then you can't empty it? I tried from here, and I cannot reproduce this issue. Only if I put exactly one single space in Description does the Description disappear from the description in the popup caption. After saving and refreshing the page, the text in the Description field is there again! Deleting does not work either. I noticed this later, cut out the entire content of the Description field and copied it into the Title field. Thank you so much and best regards from Basel Hopefully we will find a clean solution in this area, because as you know I am otherwise a very big fan of the fantastic Photogallery X3!
